right first delete the default cube by pressing X and then add a plain SPACE>ADD>MESH>PLAIN now in the materials tab (F5) press the ADD NEW button now in the textures tab (F6) now press the add new button and in the drop down menue select clouds and in the newly opened press the hard noise button then set the NOISE SIZE slider to 1.200 and set the NOISE DEPTH to 6 now click on the COLORS tab and press the COLORBAND button you will see a checkered flag fading into light blue type bar with a dotted line running through it right on the left hand side now in the POS SLIDER move it to about 0.140 and set the R slider to 1.000 the G slider to 0.800 and the B slider to 0.000 (yellow) now click the ADD button that is next to the COLOURBAND button you will see another dotted line so set its POS to 0.240 and set the sliders like this R to 1.000 the G to 0.000 and the B to 0.000 (red) (OR) R 1.000 G 0.300 B 0.000 (orange) i do mine orange as i find red to be too intence now ADD a new dotted line the same way and put its POS to 0.500 and put the R G and B slider to 0.000 (black) now ADD another dotted line and POS this to 0.000 and set the R and G to 1.000 and the B to 0.000 then ADD another dotted line and POS this to 1.000 and put the R,G,B sliders to 0.000 (black) now go to the materials tab (F5) and set the R,G,B sliders to 0.000 (black) now in the MAP TO tab press the NOR and EMIT button and set sliders like this R 1.000 G 0.000 B 0.000 (red) now last thing just for illustration purposes in the MAP INPUT tab set the SIZE X,Y,Z sliders to 2.00 now render it should look like this.....

Delete the default cube by pressing X and then add a plane SPACE>ADD>MESH>PLAIN now in the materials tab (F5) press the ADD NEW and set the col sliders to R 0.900 G 1.000 B 1.000 now go to the textures tab and press ADD NEW and in the drop down menue select CLOUDS in the new tab press the HARD NOISE button and set the NOISE SIZE to 2.000 and NOISE DEPTH to 6 and under NOISE BASIS change BLENDER ORIGINAL to VORONOI F4 now back in the materials tab (F5) go to the SSS tab and press the SUBSURFACE SCATTERING button and set these sliders like this SCALE 0.100 RADIUS R 15.000 RADIUS G 4.500 RADIUS B 2.500 IOR 2.000 ERROR 0.050 COL 1.000 TEX 0.000 FRONT 1.00 BACK 1.00 and then press the COLORED RECTANGLE and set it as WHITE as you can, now go to the MAP TO tab and press NOR REF and EMIT put the R, G and B sliders to 1.000 (white) set the COL slider to 1.000 NOR slider to 7.00 VAR slider to 0.400 and the DISP slider to 0.500 now becauls your done render it and it should look like this.....

Delete the default cube by pressing X and then add a plane SPACE>ADD>MESH>PLAIN now in the materials tab (F5) press the ADD NEW and set the col sliders of R, G, and B to 0.000 (black) got to the textures (F6) and press ADD NEW and in the drop down menu select MAGIC and in the MAGIC tab set the DEPTH slider to 0 and the TURBULANCE slider to 20.00 now press the COLORS tab followed by COLORBAND button and press NEW and move the dotted line in the checkered slider to POS 0.999 now select the othe dotted line its all the way over at the left hand side and put its A slider to 0.300 now go back to the materials tab (F5) and go to the MAP INPUT tab and set the SIZE X Y and Z to 10.00 and set the buttins to the right of this to top line X middle line Y and bottom line X now in the MAP TO tab press the Nor button twice so it turns yellow and press the STENCI button now put the R, G and B sliders to 1.000 (white) now add anothe light so we can see it better by selecting your light and pressing SHIFT AND D now put one light in a corner and th othe in the opposite corner now render it should look like this.....
